The ArmsTracker Community includes dedicated people around the world. Some are experienced in arms control, while others work in IT, already use the software or otherwise seek to increase safety in their own communities. We are keen to engage with officials, Customs, military and law enforcement officers, academics and civil society to improve ArmsTracker for all, and to train users for best results.

ArmsTracker was created by the Centre for Armed Violence Reduction. Over the past three decades members of our team helped to write the Arms Trade Treaty, served on many expert panels, joined government delegations to United Nations conventional arms control processes, built GunPolicy.Org, the world’s most comprehensive online knowledge base on armed violence and firearm legislation, and developed an arms identification database of all known small arms manufacturers and the firearms they make.
