The Centre for Armed Violence Reduction (CAVR) offers the ArmsTracker national weapon and ammunition management system at no cost to Pacific governments. Each version is tailor-made to the needs of individual state security agencies, their governing legislation and current practices. Following Samoa, other Pacific governments including Vanuatu, Fiji, and Palau have requested and received their own customised ArmsTracker weapon and ammunition management solutions.
Our Centre also assists with law reform gap analysis to comply with international arms trade and firearm legislation standards, along with National Arms Control Lists and interagency coordination. CAVR workshops provide capacity building and training to support Arms Trade Treaty accession and implementation. ArmsTracker also streamlines and simplifies national reporting to comply with international arms control instruments such as the United Nations small arms Programme of Action.
We look forward to collaborating with you or with others to prevent and reduce armed violence in a range of national and regional partnerships around the world. For further information, visit the ArmsTracker web site.
